Piano Teacher's Background

Hello! My name is Tamara (I go by Tammy) and I am your local piano teacher in Beaverton Oregon! Before I introduce you to my piano studio, I’d like to say a few things about myself.

I come from a musical family – I have been playing piano ever since I was a child, can’t say how many years precisely. I recently graduated the California State University of Sacramento with a double bachelor’s degree in music as well as business. I have also been working with two amazing children’s choirs for about five years. I have lots of experience in working and teaching music to children as well as adults and I absolutely love my job! I get inspired when I see my students understand the material that I teach and use their knowledge to show off their skills in front of other people. I love to see my students being the “smartest guy in the room” and I challenge them to “think outside the box”.
